Rules and Guidelines *This space calls for listeners to engage in open, honest, and vulnerable conversations surrounding topics related to the podcast and racial justice. Hate speech, bullying, or harmful words will not be tolerated. We will be constantly moderating and exploring the intentionality behind harmful interactions with an emphasis on restorative justice approaches for minimizing harm reduction. Repeated offenses and blatant disrespect can result in muting and/or outright member termination.We ask for no personal self-promotion that is unrelated to the podcast and/or racial justice issues. However, members are allowed to promote related work, opportunities, and personal experiences. Examples include work – both individual and organizational – that is dedicated to combating racial justice in your community, upcoming related events, and experiences related to episodes/topics being discussed. Examples that will be deleted include unrelated marketing material, personal promotion entirely unrelated to racial justice issues, etc. This will be managed on a case by case basis. Additionally, spam/spammers will be muted and/or blocked.With an understanding of the implications that may come with engaging in a digital space, we ask for members to respect the privacy of other members and moderators, with an understanding that digital environments place limitations on the ability to tangibly investigate infractions or violations. So, let’s place our trust in each other and do what we can to avoid privacy violations or potentially detrimental behavior, such as doxxing, harassment, sharing of personal information, etc. In the case of these incidents, we also want to remind users that, beyond the means of blocking violators, our capability to take further action may be limited, thus we encourage the utilization of outside resources for serious violations and cases.After reading our rules and guidelines, please click the checkboxes to denote your acceptance of them to complete your registration.
