Can a Black Soul Food Restaurant Really Be Vegan? (Guest Tamearra Dyson, featured chef on Food Network)

May 1, 2018 by Alexander Gee

Dr. Gee talks with owner and chef, Tamearra Dyson, of Souley Vegan in Oakland, CA. She has been cooking her signature vegan dishes since the age of 18 and was recently featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives on the Food Network.  Listen as she shares her deep love for food and expertise with Dr. Gee.

Tamearra is currently working on what will be a combination of a cookbook and autobiography. Look for the book by the end of the year.

In times of difficulty, we quiet ourselves, breathe, and pray for stamina and meaning. Shouldn’t we do that during prosperous seasons? #Geeisms
